Sydney Schelvis is a musicologist active in Amsterdam nightlife, studying the buzz of electronic dance music. In 2015, he studied at the University of Helsinki. He graduated the BA & MA Musicology, and the rMA Art Studies at the University of Amsterdam. Today he teaches popular music at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.
